Syk
A Syk (seek) is a small forest creature that lives on Tarati.
Appearance
Syk are usually quite short, fat, and rounded. They have two pairs of legs and a thick tail. Along their back is a fishlike spine that can be retracted. They are generally quite slow moving, both on land and water.
They have two pairs of eyes, a poor sense of smell and thick, waterproof skin.
Behaviour
Syk are social creatures that live in family groups. They are usually found near riverbanks and in tropical swamps, feeding on tree roots and tough river plants. They reproduce year round and have loud, gurgling calls.
Syk are naturally friendly and intelligent creatures and they make a great meal when served with onion sauce.
