Rinks are the most widely used currency on the Sagittarius Arm of the Milky Way. It is heavily regulated by the Galactic Council.

The Galactic Marketplace

Trading is one way of earning Rinks in the galaxy. With so many different exotic products on so many different planets, Rinks trading is always open. Even planets and stars can be sold! Merchants are always travelling the stars for the best deals, keeping the Rinks economy flowing between planets.

When a large package of goods is purchased from a planet, a trading vessel lands on the desired planet, and carries the package out. They then collect their Rinks payment, and leave. When a planet is sold, the new owners travel towards it, and the previous owners are expected to move out within two months. If a planet is purchased, everything on it is the property of the new owners.
