Kyari-Tekel was a fearless ruler who could tame beasts and slither backwards into a cyclone. She was the leader of Ss-Kuru Tribe until the arrival of the Kiladako.
Story
Kyari-Tekel had a fascination with fire from a young age. Over time, she learned how to speak to fire and controlled flame by telling it where to burn. When she became a Tekel she was reluctant to choose a scholar, believing that no toki would be able to learn from her.
Frustrated, the Ss-Kuru Tribe decided to challenge Kyari-Tekel to a series of duels. Kyari-Tekel struck her opponents down one by one with ease. Finally, Aka-Tekel was able to overcome Kyari-Tekel by tricking her into fighting in a river.
That night, as festivities were just beginning, a Kiladako ship was spotted in the nearby hills. Angrily refusing help, Kyari-Tekel set off to face the threat alone, and promptly vanished.
