A norp is a species of flying creature native to Tarati.
Appearance
The norp has a large hole where its digestive organs would normally be, to reduce weight. It has a long tongue for reaching food and six eyes which can see in all directions.
Diet
Norp graze on spomes, and the gases they ingest from the spomes causes the norp to be weightless.
If a norp has not eaten in some time it will become grounded, and needs to feed on spomes to be able to float again.
